Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

Scope of services

The exact scope of every project is defined in its proposal document — features, deliverables, timeline and commercials. Anything not written in the proposal is outside scope. Additional work is estimated separately and begins only after your written approval.

Payments

Our standard structure is 40% to commence, 40% at the design and development milestone, and 20% on launch. Subscriptions and retainers are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are quoted in INR and taxes apply separately.

If an invoice remains unpaid fifteen days past its due date, work may be paused. We always send a reminder and make contact before that happens.

Timelines

The timeline stated in the proposal assumes content, approvals and access are provided on schedule. Delays originating on the client side shift the timeline accordingly, and this is always reflected transparently in the weekly update.

Ownership and intellectual property

On full and final payment, ownership of the project code, design files and content transfers to the client. Until that point, intellectual property remains with LZ Worth.

The underlying intellectual property in our ready-made products and internal frameworks remains with LZ Worth; clients receive a licence to use them. Third-party licences — fonts, plugins, APIs — remain governed by their own terms.

Revisions

Two revision rounds are included in each design and development phase. Changes beyond that are covered by hourly billing or a package upgrade, and we always confirm this with you before proceeding.

Support and warranty

Every project includes 30 to 90 days of post-launch support depending on the engagement. This covers defects, not new features. Ongoing maintenance plans are optional and can begin at any time.

Cancellation and refunds

Discovery calls and proposals are free. If a project is cancelled after commencement, work completed to date is deducted and the remaining balance is refunded. Retainers can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

Confidentiality

Your business data, product ideas and credentials are treated as confidential. A formal NDA is available on request at no additional cost.

Limitation of liability

LZ Worth's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the engagement in question. Downtime or policy changes at third-party services — hosting providers, payment gateways, APIs and platforms — are outside our control, though we assist fully in resolving them.

Portfolio rights

We may feature delivered work in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us in writing not to. Projects marked confidential are never published.
